Why 3D Printing & Rapid Prototyping Before Mould Design?

Early Design Verification

3D printing and rapid prototyping allow you to check fit, function and appearance before investing in expensive moulds. Identify and fix issues such as weak structures and assembly errors early.

Cost & Time Saving

You won't have to wait long for a quote. Our customer service team will provide a detailed quotation within one business day.

Manufacturability Check

Physical prototypes let you verify if a part is suitable for injection moulding, including wall thickness, draft angles and ejection strategy. This ensures the final mould works smoothly.

Client & Team Alignment

Real prototypes make design communication clear and efficient. Clients and teams can visually confirm the design, reducing misunderstandings before mould production.

Industry Applications of 3D Printing & Prototyping

Our 3D printing and rapid prototyping services deliver fast, cost-effective solutions for functional testing, design verification, and pre-mould validation across industries. We help you accelerate development, cut iteration costs, and avoid costly mould changes before mass production.

Home Appliances

Produce high-quality prototypes for plastic housings, control panels and structural parts. Verify fit, ergonomics and appearance early to prevent expensive mould rework later.

Automotive

Design and test interior/exterior plastic parts, connectors and custom tooling fixtures. Speed up design iterations even for complex geometries that challenge traditional manufacturing.

Consumer Electronics

Develop lightweight prototypes for casings, assemblies and internal plastic structures. Support fast product cycles and on-demand adjustments for pre-production validation.

Medical Devices

Create precise, custom prototypes for surgical instruments and disposable parts. Ensure accuracy and stability for functional testing and compliance checks.

3D Printing & Prototyping Technologies

We offer fast, reliable 3D printing and rapid prototyping for custom parts, from design verification to low-volume production. Using advanced additive manufacturing technologies, we deliver high-quality parts at competitive prices.

FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling)

Produce strong, durable parts at low cost. Ideal for fast prototyping, functional testing and affordable 3D printing projects.

MJF (Multi Jet Fusion)

Fast, cost-effective printing with fine details. Perfect for quick-turn parts and low-cost functional prototypes.

SLS (Selective Laser Sintering)

Print functional parts without support structures. Smooth surface finish, suitable for prototypes and small-batch production.

SLA (Stereolithography)

High-precision printing with ultra-fine details. Best for complex geometries and high-accuracy models for prototyping.

3D Printing Materials for Rapid Prototyping

We offer a full range of 3D printing materials to meet different strength, appearance and functional needs for your prototypes and pre-production parts.

Resin

High precision, smooth surface, high detail, ideal for appearance models and small complex parts.

PLA

Eco‑friendly, low cost, good rigidity, suitable for conceptual models and basic prototypes.

ABS

Good strength, toughness and heat resistance, widely used for structural parts and housings.

TPU / TPE

Soft, elastic and wear resistant, used for flexible components like gaskets and handles.

PETG

High strength, impact resistant, good transparency, suitable for durable and practical parts.

Nylon (PA)

High strength, wear resistant, perfect for functional parts, gears and mechanical components.

3D Printing & Rapid Prototyping Tolerances & Design Guidelines

To help you design parts that work well with our 3D printing and rapid prototyping process, we have listed key tolerances and design tips below. Following these guidelines will ensure your printed prototypes turn out as expected. Unless otherwise agreed, our 3D printing follows these general tolerance standards. They apply to parts before any post-processing or finishing work.
Description Tolerance Notes
Part Size Up to 500mm × 500mm × 500mm without splitting or bonding
Minimum Feature Size Typical range: 0.5mm – 1.5mm (depending on material and technology)
Minimum Wall Thickness Typical range: 0.5mm – 1.0mm (depending on material and part geometry)
Clearance Between Features Recommended minimum: 0.5mm for moving parts or assemblies
